There is no doubt that times are changing. The Internet makes new information easily accessible, and people are constantly learning creative ways of thinking. Innovation, circular economy, climate change, organic sustainability, and data analysis are just some of the words companies are overwhelmed with.
It’s my role as an advisor to identify which challenges a company faces and how it can overcome these challenges. Maintaining up-to-date information resources, connecting with other companies, conducting research, and using government tools make it possible to visualize outcomes and take the right decisions.
Due to my background as an Agricultural Engineer, I have the knowledge and skills necessary to promote the value of nature. Because of that, I have the strength and motivation to fight every day to ensure a world where nature is preserved and an economy is prosperous and balanced for everyone.
I have been able to present my expertise in the wine industry as a winemaker, online entrepreneur, and writer to the world, culminating in my now managing my own consulting firm. I started to travel with my husband Jan Rook (owner of Wijnplein.nl) to the most exciting wine companies in the world, interviewing successful entrepreneurs and studying their history. In my role as a consultant, I am able to apply my expertise and knowledge to the agricultural sector as well as the cities.
What’s the point of mentioning the city? My scope will widen from being limited to food production to supporting companies in the city, such as those in government, transportation, or commerce. Coffee, chocolate, and bread all undergo production processes. Consumption of those products in the city results in tons of organic products. Take water for example: it’s bottled! Plastic is a hot issue internationally. How do we reduce plastic?
Finally, we are at risk of crisis in the economy. We are confronting hazards such as viruses and war. Those key events sum a matrix of great uncertainty. You are in the middle of a new era using AI (artificial intelligence).
